On the day of your event, we set up equipment in advance and typically take between 400 and 2,000 pictures, which are uploaded to our on-site computers. These images are displayed on the computer screens or, occasionally, as “proof sheets” for your guests to choose.
We print to order single or multiple copies of any of the pictures – in under a minute after selection. Generally, most people want 5”x7” or 6”x9” prints, and we also provide the opportunity to buy other sizes and products such as key rings.
We print our Photographs using the latest dye-sublimation printers as used in professional processing labs. They have a special coating to protect them from harmful uv light and moisture. If they ever fade, bring them back and we will gladly re-print them for free.
After printing, the pictures are put into a quality mount to be taken home and admired for years to come.
One of our photographers will normally discuss the event with you in advance by phone or e-mail to make sure we understand your requirements. We will do our best to fit in with your event programme, both in terms of timing, and how discrete you may wish us to be. We may visit the location or meet with you to check the physical details, such as space available, access and availability (or not) of power.
Another important factor nowadays is to agree whether the photos can be uploaded to our web site and, if so, whether you want to protect them with a password. This depends on the nature of the event and the people taking part, especially if children are involved.
We may use free standing photographic lights with a backdrop, on-camera flash, daylight or available light, or a combination of all three. For example, we do not use any form of flash for events such as equestrian, other events using animals, or where flash would be obtrusive (subject to reasonable light being available when indoors).
After the event, we remove all our equipment and upload all pictures to our website where we can offer a wider range of products and sizes than we can at the event – mainly because of the range of equipment we would have to transport. Why not have your pictures made into a photobook, or on a DVD to view on your TV, with a soundtrack of your choice?
